Gasroots Project exists to strengthen and grow all forms of grassroots racing through compelling photography and films in harmony with advocacy, awards and sponsorships.

THE ROOTS

Short track racing could be considered the foundation of motorsports. Tracks where generations have battled, rivalries are tempered and legacies are written. Every driver, every mechanic and every team have a story. Their passion unites them and their dedication defines them. They’re hard working people who give their all, to win. Gasroots Project was created to tell their stories.

THE MISSION

We believe the power of photos and motion pictures can engage, inspire and educate people. Gasroots Project exists to strengthen and grow all forms of grassroots racing through compelling photography and films. Our current focus is on teams and tracks in our home state of Wisconsin.

We also believe you love one another and inspire good. Through these principles, the project aims to make a difference in racing and the world. 100% of the profits from apparel sales goes to grassroots racing through advocacy, awards and sponsorships.

PHOTO & VIDEO SESSIONS

During racing season (April - Sept), we offer grassroots racing teams the opportunity to tell their story by booking a photo or video session with us. Team shadowing photo or video sessions journal race vehicle preparation, pit area activities and on-track action during a racing event.

The images or film are featured on GasrootsProject.com and social media. By shining the spotlight on local-level racers, we help them to share their story, inspire others and grow support for grassroots racing.

Grant Program

The Gasroots Grant Program was established to help financially support grassroots-level racing teams that compete in the state of Wisconsin. The goal of the program is to recognize and reward drivers and their teams for their efforts on and off the track. Circle track car/truck, flat track cycle and kart teams are eligible to apply or be nominated during annual January submission period.
