EZRA BRUSKY RACING

March 16, 2019

Racing motorcycles has helped 16-year old Ezra Brusky face his fears and stay focused. Racing gives color to his life and is something he can't live without. The high school sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is an American Motorcycle Association (AMA) amateur flat track racer and has competed on two wheels since he was eight.

A regular in AMA District 16 events, Ezra along with his father Matt travel to some of the top amateur races around the United States. Matt's influence on his son is a strong and driving force behind his success on and off the track. Ezra has learned to keep moving forward and admits he would be lost without his father's guidance and support. He hopes to advance to AMA pro-level competition in 2020 and he's preparing for the time, dedication and funding that requires.

'Stay Focused' was filmed in Milwaukee during the 2019 Flat Out Friday event on February 15. A companion event to Mama Tried's Motorcycle Show, Flat Out Friday featured over 300 pro and amateur flat track motorcycle racers competing on the concrete floor of UW Milwaukee Panther Arena. Modern racing motorcycles, vintage flat trackers, mini bikes and colorful scooters all converged on the tiny bull ring coated in sticky syrup. A tricky surface for most of the riders who are accustomed to dirt.
